Tell us a little bit about what you do here at Orderfox:

Currently I’m leading the sales department as Interim VP. We’re in the midst of a fundamental transition, from selling membership subscriptions to earning our money with a commission (service fee) on the successfully generated transactional volume. This involved a comprehensive core process rework, internal training workshops and lots of ongoing coaching. Hiring is also a consistent key priority for me.

In the past, I’ve been actively working in or contributing to every department at Orderfox. I’ve had the opportunity to build and lead two teams from scratch and I’ve worked on underlying fundamental projects that make our marketplace great - both on the business (people, processes), legal and product (system) side.

How long have you worked for Orderfox?

1 year and 7 months. I joined during the re-launch in late 2021, as new new CEO Kaspar Helfrich began hiring his core team. My first job was setting up our Hubspot CRM incl. workflow automations to enable a highly effective outbound sales team.

What’s your favorite part about working for Orderfox?

Depends on what I was working on, in which function.

Generally:

In sales, I really appreciate the nature of our value proposition. We’re like advisors - we don’t sell anything directly, we mediate and enable success. It can be complicated and at times extremely challenging - but bringing two partners together successfully is an highly fulfilling achievement that creates inestimable value - both personally and economically.

In product / business development, I really love the dynamic and daring approach in identifying opportunities and trying out new things. We are allowed and encouraged to move fast and learn from the market. We don’t speculate or decide based on vague ideas or opinions - we hypothesize, test, measure and assess to either abort or re-iterate.

What are you most excited about for Orderfox in 2022?

We built and are releasing our own proprietary instant quoting feature on the public website!! This doesn’t only help our customers get what they are looking for faster, it also helps our team internally to become more effective in our daily business and serve our clients even faster, with better results.
